What is O-Shot?
It is also called Orgasm Shot. It is a non-surgical procedure that improves female sexual experience by injecting your own platelets (cells in your blood that have healing properties) into specific areas of the feminine parts. Dr Charles Runels that developed the procedure claimed that it improves orgasms in women.
What is injected in the shot?
Your platelets are injected into your parts to achieve the benefits. Your blood sample is taken in special tubes and processed to get Platelets Rich Plasma (PRP). It is this PRP that is injected. The injected PRP stimulates new tissue formation, new blood vessels and fat cell production; causing improvements in sexual satisfaction.
Which parts are injected?
The PRP is injected in the tissues around the clitoris, the labia minora and the G-Spot in the vagina. That is 4 injections, however for women that complain of lack of vaginal orgasm can have only one injection in the G-spot.

How do you prepare for the procedure?
- Shave the area 24hours before the procedure.

- Stop eating 4 hours before the procedure.
- Drink about 2 liters of water up to 2 hours before the procedure.
- Stop smoking cigarettes 3 weeks before the procedure.
- It is done after your period.
How is it done?
- You will first consult the doctor that will assess your medical history and medication use.
- You will be placed in a private room and you will be required to remove your panties but not all your clothings.
- You will be examined for issues like infection or other conditions that may prevent the procedure from occurring.
- If you are fit, you will sign a consent form for the procedure.
- Your blood sample will be collected and processed.
- Numbing gel will be applied to the area and a cling film put for 20mins.
- After the blood is processed, it is put in tiny syringes and injected to cleaned area.
- A gauze may be added for some minor bleeding.
What do you do after?
- You can use paracetamol for some pain. Don’t use ibuprofen or diclofenac.
- You can also apply cold compress if you want.
- You can wash the area gently with mild soap during bathe.
- Do not douche, swim, soak in baths or saunas for 3 days after the procedure.
- Sex can resume 24 hours later, if there are no issues.
What are the risks?
The risks of properly done O-shot by a trained personnel is very minimal. There can be bleeding, pain, irritation and very rarely infection. Less than expected results may also be experienced. Contact your doctor for any immediate issues.
Can O-Shot be combined with other treatments?
Yes, it can. It can be combined with High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HiFU) or CO2 Laser Vagina Tightening. These enhances the effect of the O-shot and combine to give better satisfaction.
