Our surgical process
Coming for a surgical procedure can be strange or daunting for a lot of people, especially if you’ve never had surgery before. These steps give a brief review of the process and what to expect at each stage
- You will need to contact us via several media to book an appointment. Check our contact page.
- You will have a private meeting where your goals will be discussed. Your medical history and social habits will be evaluated to find factors that may affect your surgery or healing. You will be examined, photos taken and the procedure(s) outlined to meet your specific goals. The estimated cost of care will be given.
- You will be required to have investigations to assess your fitness. This will include blood workup, an ECG and any other special investigation depending on findings during examination (Ultrasound Scan, X-rays, MRI or CT). When all the results are satisfactory, you will be planned for the procedure.
- You will have your procedure offsite in a renowned surgical facility with a well-equipped theater with competent staff to ensure a safe procedure. Post-operative care would have been communicated to you and all necessary things made available.
- You will be discharged home as planned. You must use your medications and stick to all instructions. You will have access to call the surgeon if any issues arise. Post-surgical lymphatic massages and garments may be essential after some procedures. Always come for your follow up visits. Photos will be taken.
